Codex Reset FAQ
When does Codex reset?
Your account’s usage windows and an extra reset announced by OpenAI are different things. Check Codex for your own reset timing. This tracker’s day counter measures time since the last recorded limit or banked reset announcement that has started or completed, not time until your next personal reset.
What is a Codex limit reset?
We use “limit reset” for an announcement that refreshes eligible usage limits directly. Read its original source to check which users and limits are included.
What is a banked reset?
A banked reset is a one-time reset saved to your account for later use, until it expires. It differs from a reset applied directly to your limits. See OpenAI’s banked reset guide for details.
Does every Codex reset apply to everyone?
Check the original announcement for eligible accounts, plans and affected limits. A recorded announcement does not verify your own account balance.
How can I get Codex reset alerts?
Choose Email, Telegram, Discord or Slack in our reset alert options, then select the products you want to follow. Alerts are sent after an announcement has been reviewed.
