Privacy Policy

Effective September 25, 2026. This policy describes the current Reset, yet? service.

Information we process

Email subscriptions store your email address, selected products, confirmation status and timestamps. Telegram, Slack and Discord subscriptions store the account, workspace or channel identifiers needed to deliver alerts, preferences and installation credentials where required. We also keep delivery status, review records and operational logs.

How we use information

We use this information to confirm subscriptions, deliver requested announcements, manage preferences, investigate failures and prevent abuse. Prayer clicks store a request identifier, product, timestamp and a daily salted hash derived from the connecting IP address for rate limiting; individual click records are eligible for cleanup after seven days. Aggregate counts remain.

Browser notifications

If you enable browser notifications, we store an encrypted push subscription (delivery endpoint and encryption keys), your selected products, a hashed device management token, registration timestamps and delivery status. A daily salted hash of your IP address helps limit registration abuse. Your browser stores the device token and preferences locally. We send notifications through your browser’s push provider; Cloudflare processes the subscription and delivery requests. Use Turn off in the browser notification settings on our website to stop future delivery, or revoke permission in your browser. These details are used only to deliver requested alerts, manage your subscription and prevent abuse.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the site and database and processes request information. Resend delivers subscription emails. Telegram, Slack and Discord process messages and integration data on their platforms. Public source posts may be sent through OpenRouter for classification. Our email subscriber list is managed in our own database, separately from other projects' newsletters.

Cookies and storage

The Slack installation flow uses a short-lived security cookie to associate the callback with your browser. Hosting and platform providers may process technical request information under their own policies.

Retention and your choices

Unsubscribing stops future alerts but does not automatically erase subscription or delivery records. We may retain records for troubleshooting, abuse prevention and suppression of unwanted mail. To request access, correction or deletion of information associated with you, email jeanhe@altescape.us. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account. Backups may retain older records until they are replaced.

Reset, yet? for iPhone, iPad and Mac

Reset, yet? does not require a separate account and does not include advertising or cross-app tracking. Product selections, preferences and cached public announcements are stored on your device. Public announcement requests are processed by our Cloudflare-hosted service.

Optional native notifications

If you enable Apple push notifications, Reset, yet? sends an Apple-issued device token, your selected announcement products and a random device management identifier to our Cloudflare service. The token is stored encrypted; we also retain a one-way token hash, registration and delivery status, and a daily salted IP-derived hash to limit abuse. We use these details only to send reviewed announcement alerts via Apple's push service, manage your choices and troubleshoot delivery. Push payloads contain the public announcement type and eligibility summary, not personal usage readings or provider credentials. Turning notifications off in the app deactivates this device registration; you can also revoke notification permission in system Settings. Delivery records may remain for troubleshooting and abuse prevention under the retention terms below.

Optional private iCloud sync

If you enable sync, Reset, yet? on your Mac shares its latest service names, quota readings, statuses and timestamps through your private iCloud database. Devices signed into the same iCloud account can read the snapshot. Provider API keys, CLI sign-in tokens, provider endpoints and account labels are not included. Personal quota snapshots are not sent to our announcement server. Apple provides iCloud under its own terms and privacy policy.

Turning sync off stops future syncing and clears the local snapshot cache. Remove synced data deletes the app’s snapshot from iCloud; another Mac with sharing enabled can upload again. Signing out or changing the iCloud account clears the account-bound local cache.

Community prayers

The optional Pray action sends a selected product and random request identifier. Our service stores these with a timestamp and daily salted IP-derived hash for abuse prevention and retry deduplication. Individual click records are eligible for cleanup after seven days; aggregate totals remain. These records are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
